Last May 27-28, 2006, the 1st Gov. Mark T. Lapid's Offroad Challenge in Pampanga was held at the Manibaug, Pasig Bridge, in association with the Land Cruiser Club of the Philippines (Pampanga Chapter). Being in close proximity to the event's venue, Poracay Resort was tapped for the accommodation needs of its participants and guests. Special discounts were gladly extended.
